Claude Plays Pokemon is a Twitch stream where the AI chatbot Claude attempts to beat Pokemon Red. Once the game is reset, all remaining answers resolve NO, even if the stream continues with a new game.
I am N/Aing anything that is annoying to resolve. If I have to pore over multiple days of twitch VODs to figure out which way an answer resolves, I am not going to bother.

3.00@GG just for clarity, if someone else launches one using a different model but is not working for the company how will this resolve?
(Seems very unlikely due to cost but not impossible someone throws up something using R1 with different tooling)
@SteveSokolowski There are two locations where Claude could do this before Erika:
- There is a Youngster with a Zubat on Route 11, east of Vermillion City.
- There are wild Zubat in Rock Tunnel, which is required for progression after beating Surge. However, navigating there is not straightforward - Claude needs to backtrack to Cerulean and then use Cut in a specific spot.
It's unclear whether Claude has reached Rock Tunnel at all in any previous run, but exploring Route 11 is a natural step after beating Surge and required to get Flash, so if this run also beats Surge, there's some chance he will run into the trainer.

Puff reaches level 16 before Claude escapes Mt. Moon: NO
Claude escapes Mt. Moon ever: YES
Claude catches a 4th Pokemon before escaping Mt. Moon: NO
Claude "successfully" executes blackout strategy more than 10 times: NO
Claude is stuck in Mt. Moon for less than 78 hours total: NO
@bohaska Is the blackout strategy attempts question limited to Mt. Moon, or could it reload it into context and deliberately blackout another time during the run?
@bohaska @Frogswap I was a little surprised myself that this is about the whole run and not just Mt Moon, but that's what the title says, so this can't resolve No while the second run is ongoing.
My intention certainly was that it has to be the "blackout strategy". If e.g. Claude later comes up with a similar strategy independentely, without refering to the strategy he tried in Mt Moon, I wouldn't count it.
@Primer this lets me avoid double checking reddit's death count until the run resets so i am totally on board with this interpretation
also, just now claude was having trouble finding its way back to cerulean from route 25. if it remembered the blackout strategy here, it would actually make sense to do it to get back, so i think if it's still in any of the global files somewhere it's not impossible it could come up again
@SaviorofPlant It was 7 times about 10 hours ago and as per half an hour ago Claude was still suicidal. Loop time so far was somewhere around 2 hours, so pretty safe to assume we've seem double-digit number of successful attempts by now.
@SaviorofPlant Sorry, seems like loop time is 2-5 hours, if xou want to be safe wait for the update on /r/claudeplayspokemon

@JohnKossa Dev apparently went on vacation and left the stream running while he's away. I'm willing to bet he comes back and ends it instead of the code tweaks required for this question.
