LiDAR manufacturer Hesai was recently added to a list of Chinese Military Companies Operating in the United States (PDF). Hesai claims that this was due to unethical lobbying (likely by Ouster), and are planning to challenge the inclusion.

This question will resolve to no if Hesai is still on the list on 28 February 2025. If Hesai is removed from the list (even temporarily) any time before 28 Feb 2025 then this question will resolve to yes.

Per a March 20th article by AP, Hesai is still waiting on a US court's ruling on the inclusion of their name by DoD in the list of Chinese military Companies
