Will any 2024 US presidential debate mention a strict ban on AI process such as that advocated for by Eliezer Yudkowsky?

The Overton Window is a thing. Trump doesn't care for it, but I'm not aware of him being aware of this issue.

Is a mere off-hand reference enough, even if it isn't properly debated? i.e. "We got a lot of people that want our time. Natives want us to lift the gambling laws. One of those loony AI people wanted to bomb the computers or something. Trump wants more tax exemptions on real estate. We don't always have time for it, but [...]"

Or does it have to be a proper debate, with a moderator posing the question and the candidates discussing policies that would imply escalating international action like treaties, sanctions, airstrikes, etc.? If so, does the discussed policy have to impose the possibility of state-sanctioned violence to qualify?

@Mira That counts, any mention.
