I'm pretty excited about bake, since for my project yield.sh I've been playing a bunch with using bun as a fullstack app generator.
See more about bake here: https://github.com/oven-sh/bun/issues/14324
Time ranges are inclusive, in Pacific Time. I'll add more weeks as necessary.
The definition of "first launch" is kind of fuzzy, but approximately "alpha, ready for people to play with, announced on the bun blog". If there's ambiguity, I plan on using the publication date on the bun blog https://bun.sh/blog.
Possible clarification from creator (AI generated): Market will resolve to OTHER if bake has not launched by end of day January 1, 2025.
@Fay42 yes, will fixed that.
Also note that because I was dumb some of the options span 8 days instead of 7. Caveat emptor.
@Austin at what point of any do you intend to resolve this if it just never comes out?
hm, unfortunately this kind of date market doesn't support partial NO resolutions.
I think ideally, my resolution would be something like "resolves OTHER if 30 days have gone by without any updates in the #bake channel on bun.sh discord", but I'm open to alternative suggestions such as picking a hard date cutoff for when to resolve to (eg creating one final bucket to be "Jan 31 or afterwards" and resolving on Feb 1, to free up trader liquidity). Thoughts?
@Austin I'd like the liquidity freed up so a hard cutoff would be nice eventually, with a potential successor market at that point if you'd like
