Background

The "green cutoff" refers to the minimum USAMO score required for 9th-10th -grade students (non-seniors) to be invited to MOP in the green group. This typically includes approximately the next 12 below junior, non-Canadian finishers after those who make the blue cutoff.

Recent green cutoffs:

• 2022: 11 points

• 2023: 22 points

• 2024: 16 points

The cutoff varies each year based on the difficulty of the USAMO problems and the performance distribution of participants.

Resolution Criteria

This market will resolve to the official green cutoff score for the 2025 Mathematical Olympiad Program as announced by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) or the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC).

If there are tiebreakers involved in determining the green group (where not all students with the cutoff score receive invitations), the resolution will be the minimum score of students who received green group invitations.
