The Georgian Legion (GL) is a paramilitary and military unit created in 2014 by Mamuka Mamulashvili. It's composed of Georgien citizens who want to fight against the Russian invaders in Ukraine.

The Georgian Legion has been involved in a lot of battles since the beginning of the Russo-Ukrainian war, especially since February 2022.

Recently, several articles from the news outlet Ukraine Today pointed to alleged fraud, in particular misappropriation of money from private donations. Some members of the pro-Ukrainian community also have expressed doubts about this unit.

However, Ukraine Today is accused of being under Russian influence, of lying and of having set up this affair to discredit the Georgian Legion and sow dissension among Ukraine's supporters.
